A Spiritual Roundtable discussion titled “The Lightning Bolt Conversion of John Newton: from slave-trader on the high seas of yesteryore to life in the Anglican pulpit via living the lyrics of Amazing Grace” will be the focus of services this Sunday (6/23) from 10:30-noon at Thompson Temple of The National Spiritual Alliance, 2 Montague Avenue. Discussion will explore how profound personal experience of divinity puts match to the fire of spiritual practitioning. David James will be moderator. Light refreshments and socializing will follow the discussion.
