National Spiritual Alliance
Ordination Ceremony for Sheryl Sadler-Twyon
An Open Invitation to the extended spiritual family of The National Spiritual Alliance of the United States of America, Inc. -- past (in spirit) and present Life Members, past and present TNSA Members, and past and present Associate Members -- to the ordination of Sheryl Sadler-Twyon as a Spiritualist Minister to occur Sunday, September 15, 2024, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at TNSA’s Thompson Temple, 2 Montague Avenue, Lake Pleasant, Massachusetts.
This Open Invitation includes as well members of Sheryl’s personal extended family and each and all of her extensive friendships.
The ordination ceremony will be conducted by Rev. John Midura, past president of TNSA and current dean of TNSA’s educational branch, the Tabor Thompson Institute, of which Sheryl is a graduate and has accumulated Spiritualist certifications as a Healer, a Medium, and prior designation as a Licentiate Minister.
Sheryl -- who lives in Montague Center with her husband, Jon and Saydee, a four-footed canine friend -- has been a TNSA member since 2020, has served on the Board of Directors, leads weekly Development Circles and actively participates in the monthly Psychic Medium fairs. She is a Reiki Master, a certified Regression--Soul Contact Hypnotherapist, a Crystal Singing Bowl Sound Bath Practitioner, has completed Morris Pratt courses and has certificates in Spiritualism, Healing, and Mediumship.
Sheryl’s ties to Lake Pleasant and Spiritualism go back to her great-grandparents, Frank and Myra Wilbur. During the late 1800s and early 1900s, the Wilburs lived across from the demolished Mohawk Riding Club, now part of the Montague Plains Wildlife Management Area.
Great-grandma Myra was a medium who conducted seances in her home. Great-grampa Frank was an herbalist who walked the Montague Plains gathering herbs, then walking to neighboring towns, such as Greenfield, to sell his gatherings for medicinal purposes. A Celebration of Life for Myra was conducted at Thompson Temple in 1937 in the Sanctuary in which Sheryl will be ordained.
An R.S.V.P. to David James at djjames3@valinet.com for the Ordination ceremony invitation is requested because the second floor location has a 100-person occupncy permit. If additional friends and relatives and TNSA spiritual siblings wish to witness Sheryl’s Ordination, a closed circuit TV configuration could be established on the ground floor which has an occupancy permit of 110.
