Join us in this welcoming space for Voices in the Village, a community open mic for all ages, all backgrounds, and all hearts.

This intergenerational, spiritually aligned, and sober event invites musicians, poets, storytellers, and creative spirits to gather in a spirit of connection, creative expression, and community.

Whether you're stepping up to the mic or coming to listen, this is a space where everyone belongs. And once again, Montague Community TV will be filming the evening, offering participants the opportunity to share their gifts with a wider audience.

About Your Host:
Tobey Sol LaRoche was raised in a home full of instruments from around the world, finding his voice through rhythm, melody, and song. Over the years, Tobey has played in bands that moved bodies across New England dance floors and shared original compositions through groups like Sol & Kiel and The Pinings, known for their rich three-part harmonies.

A spiritually rooted artist raised in the Bahá'í tradition, Tobey brings depth, warmth, and genuine presence to every gathering — and is a beloved open mic host in the Valley music scene.

WHY HERE? WHY MUSIC?
The National Spiritual Alliance (TNSA), founded in 1913 in the historic village of Lake Pleasant, believes that music is more than performance — it is a path to Spirit.

As expressed in the TNSA Constitution:
"TNSA objectives shall be the cooperation of individuals and TNSA-chartered Spiritualist Churches... for the benevolent, educational, literary, musical, scientific, experimental, religious, and missionary purposes pertaining to the philosophy, phenomena, and the principles of harmonious spiritual advancement."

We are honored to hold this open mic in the heart of our community, continuing the legacy of music as a meaningful act of connection and soul expression.

Free to attend. Contributions encouraged.
