Join us for our monthly gathering of shared stories, spoken word, and creative connection. The Lake Pleasant Tea & Crumpets Society welcomes readers, writers, and listeners of all kinds to this open literary salon where words bring neighbors together and nourish the spirit.
Hosted by members of Montague Word Workers United, Local 01347, the evening offers an open “quill pen/keyboard” of poetry, prose, and short writings—original work or beloved favorites.
Format:
• 5-minute reading slots (+1-minute grace)
• Two extended 12-minute spots if time allows
• First-come, first-signed-up
• All voices welcome—bring a poem, song, or story
Free to attend. Donations support the care of historic Thompson Temple. All are welcome.
