Jam in the Round is a participatory community music gathering focused on connection, shared energy, and making music together in an open and welcoming space. This is not a performance or open mic, but a chance to play, sing, listen, or simply be present as part of a collective musical experience.

@ The National Spiritual Alliance - 2 Montague Ave, Lake Pleasant (Montague), MA.
The gathering is facilitated by Olivia Nied and is open to everyone. You do not need to be a musician or have any experience, and there is no pressure to perform. You are welcome to participate actively, contribute gently, listen, or just be present with the group.
Basic backline is provided, including drums and microphones. If you plan to bring an electric guitar or bass, please bring your own amp if needed. Group singing and percussion are encouraged.
Each month, the jam will include a small curated song list, usually a handful of shared songs that help ground the group and give everyone a common starting point. Lyrics will be available for these songs, and the current month’s song list will be shared in advance so participants can practice or prepare if they wish.
In addition, there is an ongoing community-curated song list where anyone can suggest ideas for future jams. Each month, a few songs from that larger list will be selected so the group can stay on the same page while still reflecting the community’s collective input.
