Join us for an intimate evening of music and storytelling as we launch the Songwriters in the Round Summer Concert Series in the historic Thompson Temple at The National Spiritual Alliance in Lake Pleasant (Montague) MA.

This special format brings three songwriters together on stage, sharing songs, stories, and the deeper inspirations behind their music. In this engaging, conversational setting, you’ll hear not just the songs—but what drives them, what shaped them, and what keeps these artists creating.

Featuring:
> Jake Klar – A standout voice in New England’s folk scene, blending folk, roots, and rock with an “unbreakable spirit,” with national touring and major festival appearances.
> Helen Hummel – A Vermont-rooted songwriter whose expressive vocals and bright guitar work bring both classic and original songs to life.
> Carolyn Walker – A multi-instrumentalist, sound healer, and classically trained violinist whose work is deeply inspired by nature and storytelling.

Set in our beautiful upstairs sanctuary—known for its warm acoustics and historic charm—this is a listening-room style experience designed for connection, creativity, and presence.

This concert is the first in our summer Songwriter in the Round series. Other dates include:
