Recording and mixing are an increasingly important part of being an independent musician, but getting started can feel expensive, technical, and overwhelming. It doesn’t have to be.

In this introductory workshop, Ethan Lindblom will show how, with just a few tools and no prior recording experience, musicians can begin making great-sounding music at home.

We’ll cover the basic hardware needed to record yourself, how to get started with a home recording setup, and fundamentals of mixing and sound design that can help bring your recordings to life.

Designed for musicians who want to better understand the recording process and gain the confidence to start experimenting on their own.
