On Saturday, November 15, the National Spiritual Alliance will host Spirit of the Season: A Pre-Holiday Winter Makers Market at Thompson Temple in Lake Pleasant from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event marks the beginning of the winter season with a joyful celebration of local creativity, community spirit, and giving back.
Visitors can browse a vibrant collection of handmade work from village and regional artisans, including acrylic paintings, fine art and nature photography, and handmade jewelry. Other offerings include crocheted animals and dolls, resin jewelry and trinkets, beaded dream catchers, Christmas spiders, and colorful tile coasters and hot plates. Seasonal crafts such as wreaths, gnomes, graphic T-shirts, door signs, and candy bouquets will add a festive touch, alongside cozy creations like mermaid-tail blankets, dolls, and custom doll clothes.
A community bake sale will offer homemade treats, with proceeds supporting TNSA’s winter programming and helping to keep Thompson Temple open and active throughout the colder months. The event will also collect non-perishable food donations for the Franklin Area Survival Center, extending the spirit of the season to local families in need.
The Spirit of the Season Makers Market highlights the creativity and generosity that define the Lake Pleasant community. By gathering artists, neighbors, and visitors under one roof, TNSA continues its mission to foster connection and inspiration within this historic village.
Please note that a good part of this event will be on the second floor, which is not handicapped accessible. For more information on accessabilty needs or to get involved, email contact@spiritualallianceusa.org.
