A Day of Community, Connection and Co-Creation
Spirit & Song is more than a concert, more than a Psychic Medium Fair, and more than a single event.
On Saturday, September 26, The National Spiritual Alliance invites you to spend the day with us in Turners Falls for a celebration of community, connection, creativity, spiritual exploration, history, and music.
The idea is simple: come into town, stay awhile, and experience the different ways we can connect with ourselves, with one another, and with the community around us.
The day begins at 11 AM at the Shea Theater Arts Center with our TNSA Birthday Month Celebratory Psychic Medium Fair, offering an opportunity for personal guidance and connection through private readings.
Throughout the day, visitors can also explore Then, Now and Through the Artist’s Eye, a free community photography exhibit bringing together historical images of Lake Pleasant with artistic photography of the village and local musicians.
The afternoon continues with free public programming, including local history and spiritual exploration, before the day culminates at 7 PM with Eight Voices, One Stage, the finale concert of TNSA’s 2026 Pond Lily Project.
The concert brings together all eight Pond Lily Project artists and mentors after months of songwriting, creative development, collaboration, and community building. The Pond Lily Project was created around the belief that music can be more than performance. It can be a way of listening, learning, sharing our stories, and growing alongside one another.
And we hope your Spirit & Song day extends beyond the Shea.
Walk Avenue A. Visit local shops. Have lunch or dinner downtown. Explore what else is happening in Turners Falls. Meet someone new. Learn something about the history of our neighboring communities, something about another person, or perhaps something about yourself.
Spirit & Song is about what can happen when all of those pieces meet: music and guidance, history and creativity, individual experience and shared community.
When each of us brings something to the day, the whole becomes more than the sum of its parts.
