Thompson Temple Parking & Accessibility

Location & Parking

We’re located at 2 Montague Ave, Lake Pleasant (Montague), MA, in the heart of a small, historic village filled with charm—and narrow streets.

Because Lake Pleasant is a quiet and close-knit residential neighborhood, parking can sometimes be a challenge. We deeply value our neighbors and want every visit to begin in the spirit of respect and care.

To help, we’ve created an interactive Google map showing the best places to park when attending events at The National Spiritual Alliance, as well as areas to avoid. These suggestions are based on our lived experience in the neighborhood, but we ask that you use your own judgment—and lead with kindness.

We appreciate you adhering to the speed limit of 10 mph, thank you!

Accessibility at Thompson Temple

Thompson Temple is a historic building and is not currently fully ADA compliant. We are a grandfathered structure and recognize that this creates limitations for some members of our community.

Many of our events are held on the lower level of the building, where there is a ramped entrance and same-level bathrooms. While these features are not technically ADA compliant, we do our best to assist community members with access.

Improving accessibility is one of our top priorities for future capital campaigns, including plans to make the lower level fully ADA compliant.

For in-person events, we clearly note whether gatherings are held upstairs or downstairs.

If you have accessibility needs or questions, please contact us at
