Spiritual Healing

What Is Spiritual Healing?

The National Spiritual Alliance defines Spiritual Healing as a gift from the Creator available to every individual. This gift is exercised through the direction and influence of spiritual beings for the relief and benefit of mental and physical conditions in all living things.

Spiritual Healing is offered freely and is available to all — regardless of spiritual awareness, belief, or background.

How Healing Is Offered

Spiritual Healing at TNSA may be offered in the following ways:

Contact Healing (Laying-On-of-Hands)

The healer gently places hands on positions limited to the head and shoulders.

Non-Contact Healing

At the request of the recipient, hands may be held slightly away from the body.

In all cases:

  • The healer acts solely as a channel for Divine healing energy.

  • The healer attunes to spirit guides and helpers in the Spirit World.

  • Healing energy is directed where it is needed.

  • All work is conducted in accordance with Spiritualist ethics and respect for the individual.

Absent (Remote) Spiritual Healing

When physical presence is not possible, absent or remote healing may be requested.

While there is no direct contact between healer and recipient, the healer attunes with spirit guides who are directed to the individual in need.

Absent healing is included during Sunday services and designated healing gatherings.

Healing & Progression Requests

As part of our weekly Sunday Spiritualist Service, we include a Healing Service.

Those attending in person may add the names of family members, friends, or pets in need of healing. If someone has crossed into the Spirit World, a request for Progression of their soul may also be included.

  • Indication of Healing or Progression
