A Sacred Space for Spirit, Healing, and Community Since 1913

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

The Mission of The National Spiritual Alliance of the United States of America, Inc. is to provide a diverse, open, and affirming organization of individuals, ministers, churches, societies, spiritual healing and mediumship development centers, and schools for the practice and promotion of the religion, philosophy, and science of Spiritualism.

Founded in 1913, The National Spiritual Alliance exists to support cooperation among Spiritualists across communities and traditions, welcoming all who seek spiritual understanding regardless of current or prior faith tradition—or none at all. We are deistic, democratic, inclusive, and reincarnationist, and we live and profess our Principles in both belief and practice.

Through worship, education, healing, development, and community gathering, TNSA serves as a living center for Spiritualist practice, spiritual inquiry, and ethical service.

Our Vision

The National Spiritual Alliance was formed with the intention of uniting individuals, churches, campmeeting associations, State Alliances, and Sunday-School Alliances into one general National Spiritual Alliance—working together for benevolent, educational, literary, musical, scientific, experimental, religious, and missionary purposes germane to the philosophy, phenomena, and religion of Spiritualism.

Our vision is to cultivate a spiritually grounded, cooperative alliance that honors the continuity of life, the practice of mediumship, and the unfolding understanding of Spiritual Truth through lived experience. We envision Spiritualism not only as a belief system, but as an evolving practice—rooted in demonstration, inquiry, healing, ethics, and service.

TNSA seeks to be a spiritual home and resource for present and future generations: a place where tradition and inquiry meet, where spiritual gifts are responsibly developed, where education and compassion are central, and where community is built through mutual respect and shared purpose.
