Governance & Constitution

Governance of TNSA

The National Spiritual Alliance is governed by a Board of Directors in accordance with its Constitution and By-Laws. The Board stewards the mission, property, and long-term sustainability of the organization.


Participation & Transparency

Board meetings are held regularly and may be conducted in hybrid (in-person and Zoom) formats. Community members may request information or participate in open meetings when applicable.

Membership in The National Spiritual Alliance

Membership in TNSA is an important step in one’s journey into Spiritualism and a commitment to upholding the Principles of the Alliance.

TNSA is a religious organization and an alliance of churches that has existed as a Spiritualist denomination for more than a century. Members are encouraged to participate actively in the life, governance, and future of the organization.


Member Participation & Rights

  • Members are welcome to attend monthly Board of Directors meetings

  • Members participate in discussions that shape the organization

  • Individual Members in good standing may vote at the Annual Meeting

  • Associate Members are non-voting participants

Members may also pursue further involvement through:

  • Certification as Spiritual Healers or Mediums

  • Ministerial training and ordination

  • Serving as podium assistants or moderators during services


Applying & Renewing

New member applications may be submitted at any time and are reviewed at the next monthly Board meeting (typically held the second Saturday of the month).
