The National Spiritual Alliance takes great pride in welcoming all who seek spiritual understanding.
TNSA is an exploratory—not dogmatic—spiritual space. We do not require adherence to a single creed, doctrine, or belief system. Instead, we honor personal experience, inquiry, and the many ways people come to know, experience, and relate to Spirit.
You do not need to be a member to attend services, participate in programs, or explore Spiritualism with us. Some people arrive as seekers, others as longtime practitioners, and many somewhere in between. All are welcome to engage at their own pace.
From its founding, TNSA was formed for benevolent, educational, literary, musical, scientific, experimental, religious, and missionary purposes—all germane to the philosophy, phenomena, and religion of Spiritualism.
We understand these not as separate categories, but as many doorways into relationship with Spirit:
Benevolent paths through healing, service, and care for one another
Educational paths through learning, teaching, and spiritual development
Literary paths through writing, reflection, history, and sacred inquiry
Musical paths through song, sound, vibration, and inspiration
Scientific and experimental paths through observation, demonstration, and lived experience
Religious paths through worship, ritual, prayer, and community gathering
Missionary paths through outreach, inclusion, and the sharing of spiritual understanding
For some, connection with Spirit comes through mediumship.
For others, it comes through healing, music, meditation, study, service, nature, or community.
All of these are honored as valid expressions of spiritual life.
